This weekend, the drama club performed the play “Notes on Love,” which is composed of skits and scenes put together as a play. “Notes on Love” highlighted the different ways that people love. The different scenes allowed the audience to reflect on themselves and the different ways that love can be depicted throughout their lives. The audience members laughed and cried throughout the play feeling the emotions of the characters on stage.

Every love was represented on the stage even in situations where love seems like it is hidden. These loves are found in grief, coping during hard situations and a family that is crazy.

“I found that the coping with grief aspect of the play was somewhat unexpected but it was an element of the play that was needed; it provided depth and genuinity. Also, the dating anecdotal, while humorous, really rang true to the hardships and exhaustion that can come with dating life,” senior Elizabeth Lemons said.

The play was able to connect members of the audience together and see love from different perspectives.
