The Final Friday
Izzie Odom Reporter Last Friday, the seniors had their final breakfast together. Everyone wore their college decision shirts and girls painted and decorated their bottoms. Parents provided breakfast and the seniors gathered to take pictures for long time memories. These breakfasts have been going on since the first day of kindergarten, and the last day breakfast closes a chapter in all of the seniors' lives.

2026 Freshman/Sophomore Honors Day
Freshmen and sophomores were honored for their academic excellence at the annual Honors Day, held in the DHS Little Theater. Family and friends were welcomed to DHS to share this milestone with their students on Friday afternoon. Mrs. Rogers and several faculty members presented plaques to each student in recognition of their academic accomplishments, and two sophomores were recognized as members of the ACT 30+ club, bringing the total number of students in this year's club t
