Playing in Pink

Last night, the Dyersburg Trojans faced the Crockett County Cavaliers at JC Sawyers Stadium in a football game in which players wore pink, supporting breast cancer awareness.
Dyersburg scored 21 points during the game, while Crockett County scored 39.
The Trojans entered the fourth quarter trailing and continued playing through the final minutes.
With 32 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Dyersburg had the ball at the 31-yard line with first down and 10 yards to go. The scoreboard showed Dyersburg with 21 points and Crockett County with 39.
Throughout the game, the team competed on both sides of the ball while players and fans participated in Pink Night to bring awareness to breast cancer.
The game ended with Crockett County winning 39–21.
The Trojans are expected to play the Convington Chargers on October 16, 2026 at JC Sawyers Stadium for senior night.
