From April 2 to 5, the Dyersburg High School Choir traveled and competed in Orlando, Florida, in the Trojan Music Company’s SeaWorld Choir Competition. Each group, ranging from K-12, was judged based on their overall performance and what “level” they were expected to be at within their age group (elementary, middle and high). Each group received a score that was either bronze, silver or gold, with gold being the highest, and so on so forth. The Dyersburg High School choir received a score of silver and concluded their competition day with fun at SeaWorld’s amusement park activities. The group also traveled to Disney Magic Springs later on that evening and continued their trip to the Aquatica waterpark, where they spent their last day swimming and having fun in the sun! Overall, the 2026 Choir trip was one for the books!
