Powderpuff is the time when female students can participate in the wonders of high school football for a chance to prove their grade has the most spirit! First round splits the teams off into two groups who will compete and the winners move onto the second round to determine the overall champion. Junior Haddy Manneh quickly kicked off the game with a touchdown against the freshmen. Meanwhile, the sophomores went head-to-head with the seniors, with senior Bella Turnage gaining a touchdown for the seniors. After the scores were tallied, the juniors and seniors won the first round of Powderpuff, allowing them to move into the finals.
In the second round, seniors faced the junior class, and senior Murphy Mae Morgan scored a touchdown to break the stalemate. After an additional touchdown, seniors finished off the second round with 12-0 against the juniors. Join the Trojans this Friday for the Homecoming game against Obion County!
