For several years, seniors at DHS have traveled to the three "lower" schools, DPS, DIS, and DMS to walk the halls in their cap and gown and show their pride in what has been dubbed the "Senior Walk." Teachers and students at those schools have always enjoyed watching their siblings, cousins, friends, and former students walk the halls in celebration of accomplishing this life goal of graduation.
This year, the class of 2025 asked for an addition to their Senior Walk - one last walk through the halls of Dyersburg High School. But this time, they weren't wearing their khakis and collared shirts, they were wearing their caps and gowns to show their pride and accomplishment. The request came from the seniors saying they wanted to say goodbye to their favorite high school teachers like they do their younger school teachers, and Principal Kamela Rogers agreed that it would be a nice send-off for this graduating class and a precedent to set for future classes to follow.
Good luck to the class of 2025 - go do great things, and remember, "it's always a great day to be a Trojan!"
