This morning, Dyersburg and Dyer County schools came together to recognize Special Education classes. The event took place at the Dyer County fairgrounds, and students, teachers and parents got to ride the rides. The petting zoo and shaved ice truck were also open for our special needs students to enjoy.

The Sea Dragon ride and alpacas at the petting zoo were especially big hits among the students, as well as Sparky the Dog visiting them. The event ended at noon with pizza and chips for lunch. DHS is so thankful for everyone who participated in celebrating our special education students and teachers.
