The Trojans are fired up to play the Choctaws this upcoming Friday

  As January arrives, the Trojan basketball teams, as well as their fans, are pumped up to play against the Dyer County Choctaws at the Terry Glover Gymnasium.

  With the rivalry between the Dyersburg Trojans and Dyer County Choctaws being sensational throughout the fall sports season, this week’s basketball game is expected to be thrilling for both schools.

  Every year, the Trojans vs. Choctaw game typically attracts lots of members from the Dyersburg and Newbern communities, resulting in completely blanketed stands and energized crowds.

  The Lady Trojans and Choctaws are expected to play at 6 PM Friday at the Glove, with the boys’ teams following immediately after. Fans are encouraged to attend and watch as the two rival schools compete for victory.
