Trojan Football hosts annual Hamburger Supper

On Tuesday, August 12, the Dyersburg Trojan Football team kicked off its season with the annual Hamburger Supper. The football team, cheerleaders, dancers, band members and family all gathered in the Commons to celebrate the start of another season. 

There was food and fellowship, followed by the recognition of members of the teams. They were celebrated for their ongoing commitment to and support of the Trojans. Charles Dawson, who provides extensive commentary for the Dyersburg football games, and Trojan Football head coach Bart Stowe shared words with the crowd. Dawson’s speech left a lasting impression on many attendees. 

   “We’re Dyersburg. Of course we’re good!” sophomore band member LA Hill said, quoting Dawson’s speech from the night. 

Come out and support the Trojans this Friday, August 15 against the Lake County Falcons at J.C. Sawyers Stadium!
