Jeff Cobb and the Trojans got started hot in the first with an 8-0 run. Some scattered scoring from the Rebels the first quarter brought the game to a tie at 14-14. The second quarter was back and forth for each team. Ward had six second-quarter points while Richmond for Obion had eight points, knocking down two three-point shots. Obion had the lead up at the half 34-25. In the third quarter, Ward and Turnage each had eight points trying to return from the hot-shooting Rebels, but the Trojans were down in the third 53-45. The fourth quarter was a battle to get the win. The Trojans had multiple scorers in the fourth trying to get the win in this district match-up. Obion stayed hot from behind the line hitting multiple more threes. The Trojans fell short with a score of 70-65.
