On the evening of September 19, homecoming came to JC Sawyers Stadium. At 6:30, homecoming festivities began with the crowning of this year's football homecoming court. Your 2025-2026 homecoming maids were Freshman Edie Allmon, Sophomore Stella Madden, and Senior Brooklyn Fite. The student body was tasked to choose a Homecoming queen. With a close vote between senior representatives Amya Johnson and Brooklyn Fite, Dyersburg High School's 2025-2026 Homecoming Queen is Amya Johnson.

With a great start to the night, the Trojan football team continued the night's festivities with another Trojan win. The Dyersburg Trojans defeated the Bolivar Tigers 44-6 in four quick quarters. Quarterback Logston Morgan fueled an explosive offense early on. Dominating both the run game and the pass game, the Tigers had no chance at stopping the Trojans. Defensively, the Trojans forced turnovers and interceptions left and right. This limited the Tigers to only scoring 6 points, with a blocked extra point.

After the game, in true Trojan fashion, fans and students stormed the field to see their friends and family. The night didn’t end here. Students, with their respective dates, all made their way to the commons for the dance itself. Capping the night off in a way that most will never forget.
