The Dyersburg Trojan Football Team’s Media Day took place on Monday, August 11, in preparation for the quickly approaching 2025 football season. Many players are going into the season with high expectations.
“I’m excited to make it to the championships,” senior Seth Pounders said.
The positive outlook on the season is shared by many of the senior players.
“I think we’re going to be great,” senior Braxton Reynolds said, “Make Dyersburg Football great again.”
Some of the freshmen, on the other hand, seem to still be getting their bearings as a Dyersburg High School Football Player.
“Is this media day?” asked Freshman Thomas Lemons.
Once properly oriented, much of the football team shared the same sentiment about the upcoming season.
“I’m excited for football season, and I think we’re going to do great,” Lemons said.
The Dyersburg Trojans officially kick off the 2025 football season this Friday, August 15, at the J.C. Sawyers football stadium. Show up and show out to support the mighty Trojans!
DMS A/V instructor and district media guru Chris Dishman spent the afternoon getting head shots of the football team to use for various publications and digital releases, including for air on the Jumbotron at games this season.
