Dyer County Fair Makes Its Annual Appearance

Taking place only once a year, the Dyer County Fair made its annual appearance all throughout the second week of September.

Carrying on this excitement, students and families from Dyer County and even surrounding counties lined up for the different rides, games and attractions the fair had to offer.

From the petting zoo and the most prominent rides like the Zipper and the Fireball to offering local food trucks, businesses and a variety of games and entertainment like wrestling, the Dyer County Fair did not fail to include those of all ages and interests.

Featuring Dyersburg’s very own students in activities like beauty pageant competitions, concerts and agricultural shows, the fair also allowed students the opportunity to involve themselves with community events.

Despite the fair nearing its end this year, Dyersburg’s students made sure to fill gates and lines with excitement and laughter.

Bringing communities outside of just Dyersburg together every year, many are enthusiastically waiting for the fair’s next annual appearance.
