Saturday, August 9, Lady Trojans soccer played in a jamboree at the City Fields in Southtown at 8 AM.
The girls first played against Madison Academy. With the hot sun blistering down on them, the Lady Trojans were ready to secure a victory. With some intense plays, like Kathleen Harrell heading the ball straight into the net, the game was escalating. Finally, the game ended with a score of 2-0. Hopes were high for the game that continued.
Our Lady Trojans soccer team played again at 10 AM against TCA. This time, the opposing team put up a fight. As time ticked, the girls had scored no points. With the other team winning a goal, the game came to an end. Sadly, our Lady Trojans lost this game with a score of 0-1. Go support our girls on August 21 at J.C. Sawyers Stadium for their first home game of the season!
