Lady Trojans defeat Haywood in 9-0 sweep

On Tuesday, October 21, the Lady Trojan soccer team took on the Haywood Tomcats at JC Sawyers Stadium, ultimately overcoming the Tomcats in a 9-0 victory.
   Displaying control over the field, the Lady Trojans kept the ball on the offensive side, forcing the Tomcats to defend their goal for the entirety of the first half of the match.
   The Lady Trojans’ offense proved to be assertive all throughout the game, completely dominating Haywood’s defense.
   With junior Meredith Zamzow scoring four of the nine goals, sophomore Haddy Manneh three and freshman Julie Anne Cundiff and senior Kathleen Harrell one each, the Lady Trojans mercy-ruled the Tomcats with an outstanding victory!
   The Lady Trojans are expected to play their Regional Finals at JC Sawyers Stadium on Thursday at 6 PM, where they will face South Gibson!
