Each week, a DHS student is nominated by faculty to be represented in the Student Spotlight. This week, our Student Spotlight is on senior Mylee Cross. Mylee is very active in the criminal justice program. She is always ready to ask questions and participate in class conversations. Mylee is a member of the Skills USA Crime Scene Investigation team that placed second at regionals and competed in the State competition in Chattanooga for the second hear in a row. At regionals in November of 2025, she led the team to a second-place finish.  Her attention to detail and ability to motivate her teammates, coupled with the numerous hours spent after school training was what got them the second-place finish.   Her personality and desire to learn and help others make her a joy to have in class!
