Dyersburg took on Ripley on Senior Night on Thursday in a blowout win by the Trojans. The game was kicked off by Elian Gonzales and quickly stayed in the Trojans' hands with a recovery by Santavion Williams on the kickoff. After this, it was all Trojans in the first half, with multiple rushing touchdowns and two interceptions from Elian Gonzalez, one being a pick-6 and another from Ty Seaton, which was also taken to the house for a pick-6. At halftime, the Trojans had the lead 49-0. The Second half was a quick one with a running clock. The younger varsity Trojans got a chance to show their skills and played some strong defense, securing the win for the Trojans 56-7. Come support Dyersburg next week, Friday, November 7, as they travel to Bolton High School to play in the first round of the TSSAA 3A playoffs.
