On the evening of October 24, 2025, the Westview Chargers visited J.C. Sawyers Stadium. The air was chilly as senior Elian Gonzalez kicked the game off at 7:00.
The Trojans put the first points on the board with a touchdown followed by an extra point kick, making the score 7-0 to start the quarter.
The Trojans quickly made it back downfield to make the score 9-0. Later in the second half, senior Jysen Grant made an electric sack on Westview quarterback Graham Simpson.
The Trojans tailed the Chargers 31-9 going into the half. After a strong start, the Trojans gave up too many scores to Westview's special teams.
The Trojans fought against Westview in a hard battle that ended 65-30.
“We learn from losses, they help make us better young men and build our character. Sometimes we need to lose before we learn to win” senior Jysen Grant said of the loss.
Come and support the Trojans on Senior Night this Thursday at 6pm as the Trojans take on the Ripley Tigers.
