On Thursday, August 27th, the Lady Trojans volleyball junior varsity and varsity teams played the South Gibson Lady Hornets.
The JV won their first set and lost the next one, leading to overtime, with them losing in a set to 15.
After the varsity team warmed up, the night got tense. The Lady Trojans lost the first set and won the second set, sending the game into extra sets. The front row shined on offense while Kate Meadows and Avery Gatlin persevered on defense. Dyersburg lost the next two sets, ending the game in a loss for the Lady Trojans volleyball team.
