On Friday, November 14, Dyersburg traveled to Fairview for a round two showdown. The Trojans kicked the ball off to start the game, and Fairview had a great return to our own 28-yard line, which eventually led to a Fairview touchdown, giving them an early lead of 7-0. After the Fairview touchdown, it was all Trojans the rest of the first quarter, with Peyton Hill scoring a pair of touchdowns, Necari Hall 90-yard rushing touchdown, and a receiving touchdown by Ty Seaton. The Trojans were up 30-7 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter came with a lot of trickery, helping put Fairview back in the game, only being down 30-19 going into halftime. In the second half, the Trojans did what they had to do to get the win. Fairview kept using the trick plays, but it was not enough because their defense was unable to stop Hill, who ended the night with 26 carries for 225 yards, four touchdowns, and one two-point conversion, leading the Trojans to a round two win 52-35. Dyersburg will travel to Covington for round three of the playoffs in a rematch that the Trojans can not wait to be in this Friday at 7:00.
