May 7 was the seniors' last day if they were excused from their exams. The rest of the student body (jealous of the seniors' freedom) wondered what they were doing.
“I went to my sister's awards program on Friday, went to lunch with my parents and worked on setting up for my grad party, and today I had an AP exam and went to eat lunch with my friend.” - Shelby Gullet
“Anne Thomas and I went to eat lunch at Green Frog and went to Hobby Lobby.” - Maggie Fry
“I’ve been taking AP Exams, sleeping, spending time with friends, going to Hobby Lobby, failing my calculus exam and going to El Patio.” - Judie Kay Justice
It seems like eating, shopping, bed rotting and spending money are common occurrences now that the seniors are free.
“I'm enjoying time with friends and family, going to graduation parties, thrifting, and catching up with my friends who are back from college.” - Addison Lloyd
“I've gone to the gym, tanned and I worked at a flower bar for my job, and it was set up at the Mill Workspace. It was a Mother's Day event, and people made their own bouquets.” - Lainee Robey
Though the seniors will be missed, they have earned some well-deserved fun and downtime before they're off to the next chapter of their lives.
